Tell us, what you do you like most about BR?
I love working for Boobies Rock because I am able to meet so many different people and hear their stories about how breast cancer has touched their lives. As Boobies Rock Girls we are able to put a light hearted twist on a serious issue and raise awareness and money each weekend for deserving cancer patients.
I would definitely recommend others to become a BR model because it will allow you to combine charity, having a great time and earning a living into one gig. The majority of people we encounter are receptive, excited and appreciative of what we do.
My favorite moment while working with BR so far is when a large group of tailgaters at the University of Georgia purchased at least one item each and were chanting Boobies Rock and wanted to take a ton of pictures with us. The united attitude and spirit of the entire group was encouraging and a lot of fun to be a part of.

Do you feel like you are making a difference in the lives of others?
I feel that I am raising awareness about an important issue with every person I speak to as a BR model. If nothing else it puts the issue in their minds in a fun and memorable way. After all, it isn't everyday that two girls approach you at a football tailgate or in a bar wearing Boobies Rock T-shirts.
Share your favorite moment with BR so far.

3. Do you feel
like you are making a difference in the lives of others?
Yes, I do feel like I am making a difference in the lives of
others, not only does Boobies Rock! like to target and donate to smaller
organizations & charities that directly help cancer patients, but also
while you are out campaigning for Boobies Rock, you encounter so many people
that have either had breast cancer or know someone who has been affected by
it…so when you hear their personal stories you know you are in fact helping,
and every bit counts!

1995
By: Naomi B.
Promotional Manager, San Francisco Bay Area
It was a time in my life I will never forget. The year was 1995, and I was ten years old. I was still very young, but I was old enough to know exactly what was going on. My Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer.
I remember the morning she went into surgery to get her right breast removed in order to rid her body of the cancer cells. Thank God my Mom took the proper precautions of early detection by getting a mammogram. It saved her life! Only one could imagine what would have happened if she detected the cancer any later. I remember I couldn't stop crying that morning, and wondering if my Mom was really going to be okay. I can't even imagine going through what she went through, but I am more than grateful for the fact that she is still alive today, has beat the disease, and has been a breast cancer survivor for 14 years.
The very one word that comes to mind when I think of my Mom along with the many other women who have been fortunate enough to survive breast cancer or who are in the midst of fighting the battle, is resilience. I truly commend all of you, and we are all in this together to one day find a cure for this disease which effects the lives of many women each day.
Here is a picture of my Mom and I, along with one of my promotional models, Lindsay G. of the San Francisco/Bay Area BOOBIES ROCK! team. We love what we do! Here's to you Mom! BOOBIES ROCK!, and so do you!
